Rick Warren Commentary Misses the Point

The reaction to the announcement that Rick Warren will give a religious invocation at President Obama's inauguration has focused on Warren's views on gay marriage and abortion, both of which he is against.

This misses the point entirely. There should be no religious invocation of a newly elected president, no matter what the views of the person delivering the religious oration are.
