Apple Computer Prediction

Apple Computer is expected to announce some new products tomorrow. As usual, the rumor mills are churning and the dominant opinion is that Apple will introduce new MacBooks, maybe Apple's version of the low-cost, lightweight netbook.

My prediction: There will be no Apple netbook, certainly nothing below $1,000. Apple has never offered a bargain-priced product and never will. Apple's brand identity is premium-priced products.

Any new computers will embody incremental improvements. There won't be any radical or distinctive new designs.
