Millard Kaufman, 90, Has A New Novel Published

Veteran screenwriter Millard Kaufman (most notably Bad Day at Black Rock), has a new novel out. He's interviewed here.

Roger Corman Recalls Charles B. Griffith

"His offbeat humor was undoubtedly a big part of the reason a few of my early films, such as A Bucket of Blood (1959) and The Little Shop of Horrors (1960), acquired 'cult classic' status."

Alas, Griffith, interviewed here, never quite managed to repeat the quirky alchemy of those classics. Dr. Heckyl and Mr. Hype was pretty awful, though Griffith seems to have been happy with it.
