A classic giveaway of kook thinking is a total lack of logical thinking. Why would you kill an attorney defending a criminal associate of yours? Wouldn't you hope your former associate be acquitted, surely a harder goal to achieve without benefit of counsel? If you were willing to kill someone, you'd kill Rezko, not his attorney.
