Jack Kerouac in Italy, 1966, a Pathetic Fool

Drunken, bloated and buffoonish. Many artists behave idiotically, outlive their welcome and self-destruct. Three years after this embarrassment, Kerouac's alcoholism caught up to him and he died from a bleeding ulcer.
