Face It, the "DC Madam" Committed Suicide

Deborah Jeane Palfrey, the “DC Madam,” hung herself in a shed on her mother’s property. Her body has hardly cooled before the usual crackpot conspiracy theories have popped up like poison mushrooms after a warm spring rain.

The propensity of people to take an unambiguous event like this and spin some conspiracy theory around it baffles me.

But her death is ruled a suicide in one day? A woman who threatened to out big political names of DC overlords and not even so much as a whiff of foul play in the story? Out of anyone's mouth in our Mee-dee-ah?

Sigh. Let’s see. She hung herself while living with her mother. She left two suicide notes. If someone facing a long prison term is discovered hanging in a shed, having left two suicide notes, then it's a pretty safe bet that she committed suicide, absent contrary evidence. It doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to puzzle it out. If she knew that any major political figures were clients of her escort service, she had months to out them. If she threatened anyone and was murdered, why didn’t “they” kill her the day after she was arrested? But no, “they” let Palfrey live and have the opportunity to blab out all her secrets for months without a worry, but all of a sudden they moved with alacrity to silence her.

In fact, since the “they” who killed her can murder their opponents so cleverly so as not to leave a trace and make it appear a suicide, it begs the question of why people who are so powerful they apparently control all the nation’s police departments down to the last officer, county coroner, etc. didn’t take the much simpler measures of instructing the FBI and other law enforcement agencies to leave Palfrey alone. If Dick Cheney really was one of her clients, you’d think he’d want Palfrey and her whores to remain unmolested, so he could continue to enjoy their services.

Over a year ago Palfrey told writer Dan Moldea that if she was sentenced to prison, “I will commit suicide first.”

As to “not even so much as a whiff of foul play in the story? Out of anyone's mouth in our Mee-dee-ah,” check the New York Time’s headline:

"D.C. Madam" Is Found Dead, Apparently in a Suicide

Until there is evidence of foul play, no reputable periodical has any business intimating it without credible evidence, which is so far lacking in this case.

Grow the hell up!

That was the most convincing evidence, since suicide notes can be faked -- I mean if Hillary died tomorrow and a suicide note was found, would anyone believe it?

But I Googled the quote and it appears that it's secondhand from Moldea, not an on-the-record interview as your quotation implies. That's not quite as convincing.
